File names, sizes, and contents travel encrypted directly between the browsers. If no direct connection is possible, they pass encrypted through a Convexio relay server that cannot read them. The Convexio server only brokers the connection and sees the room, participant names, and connection details such as IP addresses.
Added files are available for download to everyone in the room. They are only transferred when someone downloads them.
